Where possible Social Care Online contains a link to the full text of an article or book. if a record has a link to the full text it is displayed on both the summary and full record as Full text: Click here for full text. See example below:

How to get full text articles
Some journal publishers may offer off prints of articles - try looking on the journal home page to see if they have any details of these services
Use a library to access document supply services. Your organisation/ college or university librarian, or a public librarian should be able to help you obtain the full copy of articles in this way.
Find out how long this service is likely to take and how much it will cost.
Obtain one off articles directly from the British Library as an individual. You can do this by visiting http://www.bl.uk/services/document/articles.html
Check your nearest college/university to see if they stock the title. There are also a number of libraries specialising in areas of social care that allow limited access. These may be useful to visit if you are trying to locate a large amount of material. See the Libraries section on Social Care Online at: http://www.socialcareonline.org.uk/libraries/index.asp
How to get books
Use a library to access inter-library loan services. If your organisation/ college or university or public library does not have the book in stock, the librarian should be able to help you get an interlibrary loan. You are likely to be charged for this service.
