Event name: Childhood Epilepsy Study Day for Social Workers

Description: A one day course aimed at Social Workers who work with children and young people and who want to learn more about epilepsy. Topics include: epilepsy-the basics; psychosocial impact of epilepsy; social issues associated with epilepsy; communication; managing behaviour. You will also have the opportunity to meet and listen to several of our students and hear what they have to say about epilepsy and how it has affected their lives.
